Cebu City has unspent P2.5 billion in project funds
The Cebu City government has P2.5 billion worth of projects that was unspent for 2015. The bulk–P1.5 billion–is for the drainage system that was funded for the 2015 annual budget.
“I purposely did not touch it (funds ) because it needs a thorough study which we do not currently have any budget for. I am planning to ask the City Council to authorize us to use a portion of the budget for the study, but it has not been finalized yet.”
