The act of lighting the Christmas tree symbolizes Christ as the world’s light and the ceremony has become an annual tradition of Taft. Present during the celebration in Horizons Cebu were members of the Gaisano family, COO and Vice President Myra Lynn Gilig, and other guests.
Horizons 101’s Christmas tree is decked out in silver festooned with multicolored lights. Fireworks accompanied the lighting of the tree.
