Cebu Swifties gathered for a listening party of the 1989 (Taylor’s version) album at the Ayala Malls Central Bloc last Nov. 4.
The Swifties packed the Activity Center to relive the songs of popular American songwriter-singer Taylor Swift who re-recorded the album and re-released it on Oct 27, 2023 through Republic Records. This is the album that transitioned Taylor Swift’s music from country to pop music.
During the event, free 1989 (Taylor’s version) merchandise cards and stickers were given for every Zing app download. Taylor Swift merchandise was also sold during the event.
Listening parties of Swift’s re-recorded albums, also known as Taylor’s version, have been a hit at the Ayala Malls Central Bloc, and Swifties always look forward to these parties.
