Listed fuel distributor and retailer Top Line Business Development Corp. (“Top Line,” “TOP,” or the “Company”), through its retail fuel subsidiary Light Fuels Corp., has sealed a strategic partnership with Angkas, the country’s leading and pioneering motorcycle ride-hailing platform, to provide exclusive fuel and service benefits to Angkas partner riders in Cebu.

The partnership allows Light Fuels to tap into one-third of Cebu’s motorcycle taxi market, which has a 9,000-rider cap under the allocation set by the Motorcycle Taxi Technical Working Group across the three accredited operators.

“This partnership has the potential to unlock up to 42,000 liters of liquid fuel sales per day, while allowing us to support the daily needs of motorcycle taxi riders who are essential to Cebu’s mobility ecosystem. By giving Angkas partner riders access to fuel savings and value-added services, we are also strengthening Light Fuels’ position as a preferred fuel partner for high-frequency road users,” said Eugene Erik Lim, Chairman, President, and CEO.

“Fuel is one of the biggest recurring expenses for motorcycle taxi riders, and this partnership with Light Fuels gives our Cebu Angkas partner riders access to practical savings and value-added benefits that can directly support their work on the road. Through this collaboration, we are able to further strengthen our commitment to riders while continuing to provide safe, reliable, and affordable mobility for commuters in Cebu,” said David Brian Medrana, Angkas’ Head of Operations.

Through the partnership, Angkas partner riders will be enrolled in Light Fuels’ Light Rewards Suki Program. Angkas partner riders will be entitled to a P2.00-per-liter discount on gasoline and a P1.00-per-liter discount on diesel. They will also receive one free Light Automatic Motorwash every quarter and eligibility to join Light Fuels’ grand raffle promotions, among other benefits.

The partnership is expected to boost customer traffic across Light Fuels’ retail network by converting Angkas partner riders into frequent customers under the Light Rewards Suki Program.

“This is aligned with our goal of building a stronger and more customer-focused retail fuel business. As Cebu’s transport and mobility demand continues to grow, we want Light Fuels to be present in the daily journeys of riders, drivers, businesses, and communities that keep the local economy moving,” Lim added.
